Sky Branded Building
Milan & Rome
Our client came to us with an interesting problem - Sky had recently taken up possession of buildings in Milan and Rome and they needed some signage, however the signage needed to be rather more impactful than just lettering above the door.
The biggest concern was that it needed to be produced and fitted in under two weeks. So, within 24 hours we were on a plane over to Italy to do the site surveys. Initially contact was made with suppliers in Italy as it was assumed this would be the quickest and most sensible route to take, however no one wanted to get involved at such short notice.
So it was down to us to produce the huge logos, all in Contravision to maintain visability from the inside of the building. Alongside the large logos, we had to ensure all of the window frames within the logo were covered, so these were produced separately and ran into 100's! The graphics then all needed to be fitted over one weekend and at the height of summer in sweltering heat!
It was a rush and potentially quite risky considering the size of the project and where it was, but it was a total success and a real achievement with very happy faces all round!
